Attention People Living with Dementia, Caregivers, and the Businesses that support them

Do any of these thoughts describe your journey with dementia?

  • I have been diagnosed with dementia. I feel like I am losing myself.
  • I am exhausted and overwhelmed caring for someone living with dementia, who is so different than they used to be.
  • I don't understand the changes I am seeing in the person living with demenita: personality, mood, behavior, big reactions to little things and how difficult seemingly easy tasks have become.
  • I am grieving the loss of the person that used to be while caring for someone I can hardly recognize.
  • I am sandwiched between the pressing needs of caring for a loved one with dementia and my other responsibilities to job, family and myself.
  • I am responsible for creating a positive dementia care culture in my health care facility. How do I provide my residents' needs? How do I get and keep great team members to provide person-centered care for my people living with dementia? How do I support family members?
